Cindy Borchgrevink:
E-RYT200, RYT500
Owner, Certified Yoga and Pilates
Instructor,
Certified Personal
Trainer Cindy was introduced to yoga in 2001 by her sister in Florida. She loved the physical part of yoga but wasn't crazy about the final relaxation part. Her thoughts were: "I have things to do, people to see, places to go, why am I lying here on the floor?"
Not too much later, the positive aspects of yoga came to her. Being a Type A personality, yoga is exactly what Cindy needed.
She taught yoga at the Campbell County Recreation Dept and through the school district for two years, then (with much encouragement) opened Wyoga Studio December 2005. Cindy completed her 500-hour RYT certification through JJ Gormley-Etchells, Surya Chandra Healing Yoga School, in October 2010. She also earned her E-RYT200 accreditation in 2010. Cindy believes that whatever you need, is what yoga has to offer to you. The benefits of yoga are for everyone. |

Laura Dahlman
Certified Yoga Instructor
Laura has always been an athletic person, but noticed as she became older she was becoming less flexible. Yoga helps you get to the floor and up again gracefully, gives you better posture and balance and more strength. She feels yoga improves your mental and physical health all in one.
A Cosmetologist for 27 years, Laura raised two boys who are in college now, and is raising a teenage daughter. Six years ago in San Diego, her sister-in-law took her to a yoga class and she fell in love with it. She couldn't wait for yoga to come to Gillette, and when Cindy's studio opened up, Laura was one of the first ones in the door. She says; "Yoga is a method of health improvement which gives you overall peace in your everyday life." |

Dee A. Riss
RYT200, Level One Yoga Cert.
I became seriously interested in a practice of Yoga after seeing the changes
I saw in my daughter-in-law. She had begun a practice about three months
early. Her posture, girace, muscle tone, and attitude had all changed her into
a more beautiful woman. I wanted that same thing to happen to me.
Personally, I had become tired of aerobic exercise, sweating until the water
was running into my ears. So, in September of 2006, I started coming to
Wyoga Studio, here i n Gillette, Wyoming.
I too had good results. I'm a cosmetologist, by profession, so spending long
hours standing was beginning to take its toll. I wanted to work with my body
instead of against it. Yoga gave me much needed strength, toning, and
balance. Changes were gradual without pain and I noticed that my posture
was so much better.
When the instructor had to give up her noon class, Cindy Borchgrevink asked
if I would be interested. At first, I said "no" because I enjoyed "my time"
while I practiced "my" yoga. When Cindy asked the second time, I said "yes"
I had realized that becoming an instructor would only improve my yoga
practice.
In March 2010, I started teaching the Monday noon class. I have so enjoyed
seeing the changes in my students as their practices and poses have
improved. It was wonderful to see the devotion my students had for yoga
growing deeper and deeper.
In May 2010, I attended Level One Yogafit training. At first, I was nervous,
thinking I may have stepped up too quickly. After the first day, I was sure I
had done the right thing in coming forward. With the training completed, I
had become more confident in my teaching.
Opportunities came my way again when Marta Berry offered the 200 RYT
training at Wyoga Studio. The course was intense, interesting and
demanding. It included in-depth study of Asana, Pranayama, Meditation,
Anatomy and the Philosophy of Yoga. Devoting six weekends to training
ended in become a Basic Vinyasa Flow 200 RYT certified Yoga Alliance of
North America instructor.
WYOGA? WHY NOT! It's Gillette's finest yoga studio. Come and join us. |

Tracy Jerred
Certified Instructor
Tracy has practiced yoga since July of 2004 and began teaching October 2005 with a Level 1 Yoga Fit teaching certificate. She has had approximately 20 hours with Baxter Bell and attended several workshops offered at Wyoga Studio. She enjoys walking and lifting to incorporate extra cardio to her workouts. Along with her full time day job, Tracy plans on growing in her teaching skills by earning her Level 2 and Senior certificates. She loves the challenge yoga offers and depends on herself to accept that challenge and grow with it. She considers each milestone in life as a chapter in a book and can't wait to start a new chapter. |
